Assistant Professor in Language Testing at Lancaster University

The Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Language Testing. The post is partly funded by Trinity College London.
You will develop a research programme in post which is relevant to the on-going successful collaboration on corpus-based approaches to language testing between Lancaster and Trinity College London. You will have a PhD (or award within 12 months) and relevant research and teaching experience in language testing. You will also be expected to have, or be prepared to develop, expertise in corpus linguistics. You will join a large group of internationally renowned linguists and will work at the interface between two major research groups in the department, Language Testing and Corpus Linguistics.
You will pursue research and publications at a level appropriate for a strong submission to the next Research Excellence Framework and will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

This is an indefinite post beginning 1 August 2017.
